Context
- Customer was looking to transform a top 10 critical application built on legacy technology that wasn’t scaling to projected growth
- Facing fundamental issues with Marklogic impacting mission critical applications, customer needed a solution to rapidly migrate away from Marklogic
- Customer selected MongoDB as the optimal technology for this transformation, and planned to execute the engagement over 18 months using internal resources supplemented with a services partner
- However, as the engagement progressed, MongoDB realized that neither the company, nor their services partner, had the requisite expertise to execute the transition and PeerIslands got involved

- Leveraged proprietary IP to identify significant performance issues with Largest Bank’s proposed data model
- Designed a highly efficient data model that significantly enhanced application performance
